Lowering my calories??

I recently changed my weight loss goal from 2lbs a week (which I only did the first week) to 1.5lbs a week (which i accomplished every week) My calories have raised from 1370-1600. I was very comfortable eating 1370 with exercise so should I take MFP's advice and up my calories or stick to my old faithful 1370?

Last time I lost 20 lbs, I only started losing weight once I dropped my goal to 1 lb and ate more. I started losing an average of 1.5 lbs a week.0

I think you should eat what ever keeps you full content..and the extra calories can be back up for those days where you are very hungry0

If you are comfortable at the lower number and aren't hungry, I'd say leave it there. You are doing awesome!0

Agreed. This is like the age old question of eating back exercise calories... MFP should maybe rethink "one-size fits all" standards.0 -
