Cross trainer

Hi,
can I get opinions on Cross trainers? I really don't have the option of a gym due to lack of funds & child care but was wondering about getting a compact cross trainer so I can fit in some exercise as & when I have time at home.
I'm not sure what it would come under in the exercise database so couldn't see how good it is at burning calories.
Any advice would be very gratefully received :flowerforyou:

It's under elliptical. I got one because I'm not keen on the treadmill. I use it most days and I find it a good machine as you can change the resistance and make it is difficult as you like.0
