I worked REALLY hard in planning tomorrow's menu. I finally got a great ratio of protein, carbs, fat, and salt. AND then I check cholesterol and it was WAY high.
Basically the menu is liquid eggs for breakfast, fish for lunch, chicken for dinner. That gave me a great protein (51 g) carb (16 g) fat (10 g) and sodium (518 mg). I was feeling pretty good and since I have my sugar eating under control I thought I would work on cholesterol so I changed sugar for cholesterol. It came up to 119 mg.
I use the TOPS manual as my educational source and it says that the liver produces it naturally and therefore is not necessary to consume it.
So ahhh. What am I supposed to do? Can my body process this cholestrol? Does it expell it in waste?
Just in case it's relevant - I don't have a high cholesterol problem. It has always been less than 200.

No, NEVER. But there is a BEST menu, and that one that is OPTIMAL to GOAL for YOU, YOUR GOALS, and YOUR CONDITIONS.0

Nope! no such thing.
I personally only look at look at the calories and making sure I get enough protein. MFP's protein level is way too low. You should get .5 to 1 gram of protein for each pound of body weight.0 -
Is there a reason you're only eating 500 calories today and not even 400 tomorrow?0

I just looked at your food diary and you are not eating NEARLY enough calories on most days. You should be eating close to your daily goal every day. If you set up MFP right to start with, the daily calorie goal already has a calorie deficit built in to lose weight. By not eating close to that each day you are likely to put your body into "starvation mode". Once your body is in starvation mode it will hold onto all the fat it can because it will think that there is a famine making it VERY difficult to lose weight. (or not in a healthy way anyways) If you do not believe this, some don't, do some research online. Also, for the same reason, you should eat to replace most of the calories you burn through exercise. You may think "then why exercise at all?" The reason is that exercise has other health benefits and will also help boost your metabolism in the long run.0

Are you serious?!?!?!
Lady, you absolutely need to eat MORE, WAY WAY WAY more.
OMG I am afraid you are going to end up in the hospital if you keep going like this.
I read your notes where you said "hey people can survive locked in their car on bugs and wiper fluid so I'll be ok, right?"
NO NOT RIGHT!
You are seriously starving yourself to death.0 -
Are you serious in one of your little daily notes posts that you seriously want to lose 50 pounds in 60 days??0

My question for you is can you eat like this the rest of your life? You may lose weight and not get sick but the second you stop starving yourself it will all come rushing back. In addition, of the limited foods you are eating a lot of is is either processed food or sugar. I know it can be daunting when you have a large amount of weight to lose. My advice would be to get in the habit of eating healthier and incorporating some form of regular exercise into your life. I started out taking water aerobics 2 x's a week and increased it over time. I am now doing 4 x's a week and I am never hungry. peek at my diary. I am eating lots.
My concern is you may experience that initial 10 - 20 pound water loss and then stall. Your body will begin to hold onto every ounce it can. This leads to diet frustration. Try adopting a new eating lifestyle that you can easily sustain for the rest of your life.0
