Does anyone have a good black bean brownie recipe? How close to actual brownies do these taste?

    I've made this one:

They were very moist and really tasty! I even left out the chocolate chips. No one realized they were bean until I told them!

They taste fine to me, texture is ok I guess. My BIL hates them! But they are a little high in sodium from the beans - unless you cook your own beans. Also, they are almost the same amount of calories as regular brownies, they are just lower fat.

I prefer to make brownies using applesauce instead of oil. Low fat and lower calories than the bean kind. It's how I make cakes, too. Just replace the oil with an equal amount of no sugar added applesauce. Sometimes I just add an extra tsp or two of oil to give it a little bit of fat. They will be more cake like in texture than the usual brownie.
