Slipping and sliding

I have been doing the 30DS. I am now on level 2 and my feet keep slipping and sliding away from me and out from under me during all the plank positions!!!!
I have hardwood floors and no carpet or rugs.
I thought it was just the shoes that I had on, so I tried another pair and it did the same thing.
Any suggestions on how to keep from slipping while trying to hold these poses??
Maybe doing it barefoot?? IDK
Thanks in advance!!

A yoga mat is great for this purpose. You can find them reasonably priced.I think I paid $15.00 for mine.0
