:flowerforyou: Me. You don't need it. I have one now, its neat to see how much I'm actually burning, but when I lost my first 50, I didn't use an HRM at all.
Good luck to you :flowerforyou:0 -
If you decide to get one, Target has all of theirs on sale this week0

I've lost 38 pounds with out using one. I just can't justify that expense at the moment. I did buy a 5 app for my cell phone that tracks how far I walk/run. It does a ton of other activities but I haven't used it for that. It's not exactly the same but it's good enough for me for now.0

I don't have one and cannot afford one and I am losing just fine.0

I haven't lost 50 pounds yet, but I do have one. With that being said, no, you don't need one. If you're worried about cost, just put $5 or $10 away every paycheck (if you can). They're nice to have if you start to plateau since it's more accurate that just plugging your activity into a database and it "estimating". If you're still losing on your own, I would wait until you can invest in a reliable brand (I did a lot of reseach). Good luck! :flowerforyou:0
