lose weight?

hi i just wnted to know that if im in my limit on my diary everyday should i still be losing weight if my totals at the end of the day dont go into red then i should still be losing the weight regardless of if that day i had say low fat biscuits more than the previous??? or had something like fish fingers rather than a healthy meal..........??
