I feel like the only way to do this is to starve! I have such BAD breakdowns on the weekends due to our river lifestyle on being on the boat. Is it a bad thing to ask for support! I want to do this so bad and I do so well in the winter months. I WANT this lifestyle change...but I get so lazy! If I would just eat right I would exercise right! I made such great strides from Jan-April but got burnt out on Grilled Chicken and Sweet Potatoes and soup.
Again...I'm here and I want this...a pep talk would be appreciated it!

You know that you can do it! You want to do it! Now go ahead and do it!
Portion control is a hard thing but you can do it. And if you can't get motivated for exercise than you scrub the deck and polish the metal and make that boat shine. You'll be surprised how many calories that burns. And maybe you'll decide that a walk or a bike ride is more fun.

Girlfriend I am in the same boat, lol. Love the lake but it is so easy to fall into that chips, pop and whatever you can grab mode and snacking seems to go unchecked. The things I am trying to make sure I do. Bring lots of fresh fruit, apples and cuties, instead of chips and dip, carrots and hummus. Freeze a few water bottles NOTHING taste better than ice cold water, they thaw in the cooler over the weekend and they help keep my FAVORITE treat frozen GRAPES (have to eat these the first day) its like everything else on this journey it takes extra time to plan. YUCK but you can do it. Don't starve MAKE sure to eat or your body will hang on to all that you want to loose. Im having to regroup from getting lazy too but thats ok. Let me know if YOU discover any neat boat food.0

Not gonna give a pep talk per se...but I am going to say do the river lifestyle on your boat. Just cut portions. We don't need to overeat just because we're having fun. You can do this. Just know that weekends aren't a free pass. Give yourself some variety from Chicken & Sweet Potatoes too!0

I have been fighting trying to lose this extra 50 pounds I've had for so many years.... I would try but go back to the weight I was. But last November I have no idea what got to me but I just decided I was sick and tired of being FAT and my pants being so uncomfortable and so on ..... I have lost 30 of that 50 so far!! You seem to have the same attitude I did, I finally wanted it bad enough I did something about it and I stuck to it!! You can too!! Just give yourself time in the beginning.... I really got going when I finally hit 10 pounds lost and then I just got motivated and did it!! I'm at a stand still right now but I'm ok with that, as long as I maintain I am happy with that (for now) I intend to get serious again and get the last 20 pounds OFF!!!! Lets do it together!!!

You seem to be the opposite of me!! LOL I always get lazy in the winter because I HATE the cold weather. I feel like I'm more active in the summer. Yes, summer does have more "bad" food, but is also filled with super healthy food! Challenge yourself to visit the closest farmer's market and try new fruits and veggies that you never thought you'd like. Or find a fruit or veggie you don't like, but find a new way to cook/prepare it and see if you like it. Also, if you're on a boat a lot, swim!! I don't know about where you are, but I know the river in our area is a little dirty so maybe you can't swim or would choose to not find out what's on the bottom of the lake! LOL but try to find something that will get you moving while out on the water!! Bring coolers with your fruits and veggies and plenty of water!0

Thank you all so much for this! It means so much! I WILL start taking the veggie and fruit tray instead of the meat tray!
I guess I am just so bored with food...so I just starting going processed again. I have a few tomato plants in the back yard and it’s a great time to hit up the farmers market for fresh veggies and fruit...I just need someone to help kick my butt in gear! I had done well maintain until this weekend when I tacked on 3lbs this morning at weigh in.
Today I plan to walk on my break, walk when I get home this evening, and lift those weights. I will consume my 8 glasses of water today.0
