i have been ubder a lot of stress this week i have an exam on thursday, i am skint as always but feel it is just getting worse i work full time as does my husband but we pay the bills and survive we have no disposable income for days out holidays or even clothes for that matter so feel really low. For the last few days i have knowingly stuffed myself to the point of feeling sick with very obviously bad food (cake, crisps, biscuits) didn't even enjoy it and now ive gained at least 3 pounds and feel even worse, as i have let myself down i know i can lose it again and really its a minor set back but right now it feels huge (as do i) does anyone else comfort eat in binges any tips so i don't do this again

Think we all have days like that. I know I have. All I can say is be strong don't let it beat you. When life gets you down it's very easy to lapse but friends will motivate encourage support and make you laugh on here so big hugs and tomorrow is a new day.0

Trust me, I know exactly how you feel. I was right where you are at finals time in early May. I also work full time and the two classes I took this year were tough!
The best advice is not to buy the bad food in the first place, then it isn't there when you feel the urge to binge. Instead buy as much healthy food (fruits, veggies, etc.) as you can afford. If money is tight, you don't want to be spending what little you have left after paying the bills on junk food, anyway.
Things will get better for you! I'm now enjoying my summer break and am spending my extra free time exercising.0 -
oh goodness do i know exactly what you are going thru! living paycheck to pay check is so hard that adding any extra stress can knock you down so fast! I also understand the binge and the guilt from it! i do it when i get upset. its not even for being hungry its just comfort or to just keep my mind off something.. busy food is what i call it! one thing you may want to try is a healthy picnic in a local park for you and your honey. it may not be a holiday or anything big but it will be a lil get away for yall. just spend the afternoon feeding ducks, walking and talking. trust me it will help with the stress and you will feel better about the lunch choices too. me and my husband love our mini getaways so much he just recently bought me a sweet lil picnic basket from a garage sale! :-) it has really helped to find free relaxing days away.. i was so busy enjoying my days i didnt even want the chips i had been craving!
hope this helps! keep it up! you can do it honey!!0
