Does rice stick with you ?

Hi All
Has anyone else noticed that if they have rice their weight goes up and stays that way for a couple of days?
The weight drops off again but takes time, almost as if the rice stays in my system longer than other foods.
Any thoughts?

No. Rice does not have some special property that would make it increase your weight for a few days.
Perhaps you're insulin resistant and don't respond well to carbs. Do you notice the same thing happening with other carbohydrates?0 -
Nope. Half of the world eats rice as a staple of their diet! I eat rice multiple times weekly with no ill effect.0
