Hi
Im new to this site, been going 5 days now and have really had a big eye opener with regards to how many calories foods have in them. I think I should have counted calories years ago but thought it was far too difficult so tried every other diet in the book and got no where. Im determined to change my lifestyle and feel happier in how I look, what I wear and just not feel frumpy anymore. Ive started exercising and was down at the local park today whilst my daughter played with friends, I used a massive tree/log that had fallen down to do step, dips, lunges etc. I also walked round and round so added that to my exercise for the day. Im determined to feel complete as dont want to go to my grave having dieted all my life.
Please add me as a friend if youde like as I could do with all the encouragement/ tips and words of wisdom I can get.
We have booked our first ever cruise for my 40th next year October so want to be a yummy mummy by then.
All the best everyone

Welcome! Today is my 5th day too and I am really loving this website. I have been on every diet out there and this is the first time I really feel like I can do this as a lifestyle. I'm sending you a friend request because I love having friends on here to keep me motivated.0

I'm definately with you here and i greatly admire that you are going for it whilst working it around your daughter. .
I have a little one who is 20 months now and going to the gym is impossible at the moment as my husband works away. So now i get on my bike, baby on the back, or i jump up and down like a loony in front of the tv to a fitness dvd when he is asleep.
I'm firmly believe that that to look good over 40 the face on it's own is not enough. The body has to be somewhere up there too! This is a good way to start. Mfp is great and there is someone for everyone here with any aspect of dieting/ training.
Add me as a friend if you like....
