So I just googled Paleo Calgary to see if I could find out more about the Paleo diet and look at this thread I just found.

I'm always curious about the sheer number of diets like this out there - I've read on this one before, and to be honest - most people who eat "healthy" tend to find themselves eating much the same way as this - especially if they are working out regularly (higher protein for example) -
Kerri - you are my MFP friend and if you think it will work for you - then go for it and I'll support you on it
To me, it's about finding a "lifestyle" and not a "diet" and going for broke. I know I'll NEVER be able to eat the way I once did, and I just want to find a way to enjoy health and healthy "good for me" foods that I'll eat for a lifetime!0 -

I agree with you, completely. I had to find a way to eat that worked for me - was healthy, but that was designed by me. These diets that come around may work for some, but I needed to make a change that would be a way of life. Now that I'm used to it, I rarely feel deprived. When I do feel deprived, I let myself have a reasonable amount of whatever it is that I'm craving.0
