Does anyone know about how many calories (maybe per hour) burned when rototilling? I just came in from rototilling a new area to expand my garden and it really kicked my booty....I'm soaking with sweat! I figured it was worth recording in my excercise log but I couldn't find an entry.

You'll really only know by using a heart rate monitor!0

No way to tell for certian. I would just log the time as "Gardening, General". Will probably be less then actual, but it's better than nothing.0

I know....hard to tell exactly
Livestrong.com stated-
"Tilling Garden burns approximately 394.6253619 calories per hour for an average, 145 pound person"
Not sure if this is using a rototiller or doing it by hand.
It sure does workout your deltoid muscles though!0 -
