Hi Everyone, I heard about this from a coworker and think this might help me! I will admit I have always been weary about dieting because I always slip somehow by watching what I eat, I am trying to workout everyday by walking at least a mile, I know its not alot. I want to do more I just feel unmotivated. I would love to have some friends on here to help me stay on track! I really need some determination I want this so badly and I know its possible just by watching what I am eating and exercising as much as possible. Thanks for reading! -Connie:flowerforyou:

don't think of it as a diet... think of it as creating a new healthy lifestyle. And do it one step at a time.. one walk, one healthier meal, etc.

This website is not a DIET! You are accountable for what you put into your mouth. Just make healthy choices and count your calories... I truly believe that you will succeed using MFP. Just be realistic about it... You shouldn't be losing 10 lbs a week. That is extremely unhealthy. This site helps you to distinguish the difference between treating your body right and completely raking it through the coals.
GOOD LUCK! :flowerforyou:0 -
I agree with the last post; you cannot think of this a diet. Once you recognize that eating healthier and exercising is a life time change, it gets much easier to stick to it. As you lose weight and see results from doing this, your motivation will increase. That doesn't mean you can't enjoy things that aren't great for you, but you do it far less and over time you'll find you even have fewer desires for those foods.0
