I have been struggling with gaining and losing the same 5 pounds since April this year! I have upped my exercise(started running 3-4 days a week for 25minutes) and am eating within my calorie allotment and purchased a HRM so I can better calculate the calories I burn then eat back. I cannot for the life of me get under 140. I am under a lot of stress right now: facing eviction, trying to find a new home for my kids and I, increased hours at work and marital problems. I don't know what to do! How can I kick-start my weight loss again? I feel like I need to give up until the end of the month when all this bad stuff passes and we are in a new home. Still exercise the same because I enjoy it but not be so strict on my eating. Please help! I usually take Saturday and Sunday and eat somewhat what I want that is why it's not filled out in my diary but I don't go overboard could this be why I can't seem to lose this last 11 pounds?? :sad:

It is proven that stress can have negative effects on your weight. I am sorry you are going through all that. As hard as it is, you can't let that stuff get to all day long.. You may just have hit your plateau and need to switch up the workout routine a bit... Hope things get better for you!!0

How can I hit a plateau with a work-out routine I just started within the last 2 weeks? I started running because I wanted to switch up my workout thinking it would help and now I love it so I kept doing it and increased the amount.0
