Sugar and fat...

I am constantly over on these two and under on my protein goals, however I just don't have time to prepare meals for myself low in these contents. I either meet or are under my calorie goal. Do these things matter?

The simple answer is yes these things matter. The qualifier is IF they are from processed sugar sources and bad fats. If it comes from fruit and good fats like olive oil and nuts than you might be fine. I would still cut back on fats, but sugars from fruit are fine as the body cannot absorb most of the sugar in fruit due to the fiber in the fruit making it much more difficult to absorb.0
