Green tea

I hate tea! And I don't drink much coffee either so I end up drinking NAS squash and water which can get boring. Sometimes I like to have a hot drink so I thought I would give green tea a go as I'd heard it didn't really taste like tea.
Today I bought a variety pack and have just had an apple and pear flavour one and do you know what? It doesn't taste as bad as what I thought it would! lol
I wouldn't say I was converted just yet but I'm on the way

I'm drinking lots of different tea varieties too as I'm not into coffee or the average english cup of tea and want to break my drinks up and it keeps me interested and taking fluids!
My mum went to a farmers market recently and found a lady who does tea blends, her company is called "QuinTEAssential".
She brought some mini tins back, creme caramel, mint choc, choc orange flavour etc they are absolutely gorgeous but I have no idea about calorie values in them. I'm sure it can't be too much though.
Just keep buying different varieties when you see them!I'm currently on two boxes of twinings where you get 5 packs of 5 flavours.

I think herbal teas are very multi purpose. Sometimes I run a nice warm bath and drop 1 or 2 cammomile tea bags in to help me chillaxe. You can do this with most of the herbal teas. Makes bathtime all natural but nice & smelly - lol - in a good way! :laugh:0 -

another little benefit in the bath is to put some oats in a muslin sack or the foot of a pair of tights ,tie it up & chuck it in the bath ,dont use soap atall ,just use the ball as your soap ,i have used this for skin condition & you all need to try it is so nice & after it leaves your skin so soft & smooth ,oats are so good for us inside & out we really should use them more x0 -
Green tea is literally all I drink. I have between 4 and 6 cups a day! I occasionally have coffee on a morning, or rooibos tea for variety, but I'm a green tea addict through and through!
My parents were very health concious when I was growing up, and I wasn't allowed any fizzy drinks, or added sugar squashes, to the extent that when I did try them, I hated them. I can't abide fizzy drinks now, even lemonade! So tea is my savour haha. And I don't drink milk, so I have either green or black or rooibos tea.
My housemates all think I'm crazy and glug juice and cans like it's going out of fashion. Really can't say I'm missing out!0 -
I drink two cups of green tea a day. I like the different flavoured ones. At the moment I alternate between raspberry and feijoa.
I've found that adding a little bit (you really only need a little bit) of Coffee-Mate to it makes it tast even better! More creamy.
I used to hate green tea (and I even lived in Japan for a year), but now I love it! Especially since I learnt of all it's health benefits.0 -
Well I have to say that I have been very surprised that I actually like it! I have just tried the pineapple and grapefruit one which is my favourite so far! I prefer it with a sweetner or two.
I know it's probably psychological but I didn't feel that hungry yesterday and I'm not particularly hungry at the moment too so I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts before the novelty wears off :laugh:0
