Okay so green tea is known to have many health benefits including aiding in losing weight . . .

However I am "allergic" to Green Tea, it brings me out it sweats, gives me vicious stomach cramps and makes me throw up . . . ALOT (TMI I don't care :P hehe)

anyway, I was just wondering if there was anything else with similar benefits as green tea? (mainly the weight loss benefits)

any suggestions would be much appreciated!!

thanks guys :flowerforyou:

oolong tea? or white tea? are you ok with normal tea, all types of tea from tthe tea bush have similar antioxidants etc it's just the concentration levels are different. If it's 'tea' in general you're allergic to try yerba maté (you can buy it online) great slimming aid & full of goodness :)

White tea is generally what you get at chinese restaurants. And yes it will have similar benefits. All teas share the same properties, just some stronger than others.

Well, you're in luck! I work (on the corporate side) for a massive coffee company and they made me learn all I would ever want to know about coffee. We make a lot of tea as well but I don't have as much knowledge on that end as I do coffee.

Coffee, both caffeinated and decaffeinated, has MANY benefits. But what I think you might be referring to which would be a similar attribute to coffee is the whole "cleansing of the system" act. Coffee stimulates peristalsis, which in layman's pretty much means it speeds up your digestive process and helps you secrete (poop) while benefiting the drinker by preventing constipation (so it's said, no thorough study has been found on that last part on constipation though).

Again, I hardly know anything about tea. I just drink it because it tastes good and it's in our break room. Mainly the sweet iced teas though, not so much the darker ones.
