Hello Everyone--

I wanted to know if anyone has any stress relieving ideas? A friend of mine suggested that I get a scent in a small oil form something that I can take out of my purse and smell to relieve some stress. Any other suggestions as to what scents or anything else that works for you? I have a very stressfull job which I'm actually trying to look for another one but in the meantime I'm stressing out!

Help!!!

Lavender! Always calms me, or chamomile?

At my last office job I had a very stressful boss. When he would make me crazy, I would take 15 minutes to go walk around the outside of the building. Once, I was headed back in and realized that I was still really frustrated at him, so I went back out for another round. Once I came back in, I was calm enough to be productive again. That might not be an option for you, depending on how tied to your desk you are.

You can get essential oils very inexpensively and make a blend. Lavender and/or chamomile on a cotton ball to sniff is good, some health food stores carry a migraine blend of mint and lavendar that you can roll onto your temples, which works well too.

    Chamomile tea to sip.

Lastly there are pastilles (like lozenges) made by Bach's called Rescue Relief -- they work GREAT. http://www.bachflower.com/Rescue_Remedy.htm
