I love how my front- chest, arms and collarbones are all becoming more defined, etc, but I have seen some beautiful toned/shaped backs with very nice (not too bulgey) muscles. I want that! I want to focus on training and toning my back to make those muscles pop! I don't have a fatty back (anymore!) and could use a few ideas.

I already do the bent over row and the T Y I tummy raises.
What are some other excellent back strength training ideas?
Thanks!

squats and deadlifts. They are the train everything exercises. I had bad back pain at the beginning of the year that is now completely gone thanks to these two exercises.

How could I have left out squats from my post?... I am ashamed of myself now.

What has been mentioned. Let me second the pull-ups. They are amazing for back work. Just so you know I can't do them without assistance, but even using my foot on a chair to help me up, and then lowering myself back down, they give a great workout of the lats that give that nice sweeping v shape to the back.

I was wondering the same thing. Maybe you're not awake yet.
