Hi everyone! I wanted to ask the dreaded question that everyone has banned! It's a question about diet pills. I do not take diet pills, but I am stuck in a rut and thought I'd see if there was anything out there that anyone recommends for like a "quick start" or even something out there that actually WORKS! Any ideas or suggestions?

Why / How are you "stuck in a rut"? I think you'd be surprised what a little diet and exercise can do to that scale number after a week.

Diet pills may help you lose weight at first (cant say for sure as ive always stayed away) but I dont think it's a sustainable life style. You need to look at losing weight differently. Between now and reaching your goal you will find its a big trial and error process. These 'quick fixes' dont help you develop a healthy relationship with food. I would much rather reach my goal with a healthy body achieved the right way through healthy foods and exercise because I believe it will be much easier to maintain.

What has worked for me is eating back the majority of my exercise calories (never going below 1200 net), cutting sodium, high protein and lots of water, you may not find the winning formula for yourself at first but work at it and you will !!! Weight loss is a learning experience and you need to make use of the time taken to get healthy so when you reach your goal you know what to do to stay there for good. This is just my opinion all the best in your weightloss :)

My problem with using them because you are "stuck in a rut" is that is doesn't teach you anything. Have you reviewed your diary? Look for sodium or sugar spikes that may be what's causing you to stall? Changed up your exercise routine? Personally I find those types of things more helpful than diet pills.

I think it's great that you asked this question! I love the feed back you are getting too. You MUST stay away from those. There is no quick fix that is going to give you lasting results!
Keep your head up, and I am sure if you just look at what you are eating and how you are exercising, you will be able to see a difference. :)
