I know that it is better to eat 5 small meals a day, but I work in an office where I sit all day. I eat egg whites at 6:30am with coffee. Eat a snack at 9:00am Lunch at 11-12ish, snack at 1-2ish and then dinner at 7ish..... I work out for 45mins after work. Is this still a good idea? I feel like I am eating all the time!

If it works for you do it. Frankly, there is really no evidence that 5 meals a day is any better for you than 3 or 9 or whatever. The much more important aspect is what helps you to keep within your calorie budget. For some people that is 5 meals a day, for others (like me) that just leaves me unsatisfied and hungry all the time tempted to eat more. If this helps you, by all means do it. The key here is quality calories.

I too sit all day and I've had no problem losing weight while eating small meals throughout the day. Like you, I also work out after work, and so far I'm losing weight every week.

I sit all day as well, I've changed my eating habits a lot in the past 3 weeks, and lost 9 lbs total. I started paying more attention to serving size and portions.
I can not eat 5 small meals a day, I'm lucky if I can eat 3 meals a day with snacks. I have found foods that fill me up faster too. I think it's because everyone is different. Their body works differently. If you fill stuffed silly, or are not feeling the need to eat when a meal comes up, have a small snack instead. That's what I do.

There's also the option to modify your workstation to stand for part of the day :)

I do this everyday. It's easier to move around, do some lunges, etc.
