My hubby is no help with my weight loss! Though he is losing weight (because of what I'm cooking for dinner) he still likes to eat like a king. I let him fix his own breakfast and he will eat pancakes, eggs, bacon, and toast. It all smells wonderful while he cooks it but I resist the urge to try anything. Usually for breakfast I will have Kashi Go Lean with Skim Milk, and two slices of low calorie bread. It's a good breakfast, but nothing like my husband makes!

So I thought today I would reward myself and make myself a awesome breakfast. I made scrambled eggs using egg beaters, turkey bacon (from Aldis Fit & Active Brand, its delicious), 1 serving of oatmeal with a packet of truvia, two pieces of low calorie bread with Parkey Butter Spray and Sugar Free Smuckers Grape Jelly. It was wonderful and I couldn't even finish it all! It was nice to eat like that once in awhile and it only cost me 350 calories!

My next goal is finding like some type of low calorie, well I guess sugar free pancake mix and syrup. Anyone know of any or any good recipes?

Took this right off the food journal....my fav breakfast less than 300 calories.

    Breakfast
    B and J's - Coffee 101( Inst Coffee Creamer Splenda), 12 oz (1 mug)... 17
    Butter - Salted, 1 pat (1" sq, 1/3" high)..... 36
    Farm Fresh - Egg, 1 egg .... 80
    Generic - Bread Aunt Millies 12 Whole Grain, 1 slice .... 110
    Butterball - Turkey Bacon, 1 slice .... 25
    Total 268
Fry the egg in Pam..no calories, pretty much non diet stuff, satisfying and inexpensive.Love the Aunt Millie's, starts the day with 6 gr fiber, tastes good and is a substantial piece of bread.

    That sounds good Ezzie!

I will have to get some Aunt Jemima's Sugar Free Syrup next time I go to the store. I was talking to a friend of mine earlier and she told me to check out the diabetic part of the store because she has bought Sugar Free pancake mix for her father. So I think I will try that out as well! I will let you know if its good!

What is special K waffles Losing_It??? I like Special K so I imagine I would like that!

Eriny...I will have to look for that bacon to try. You know my friends and family all laugh at me. I'm the type that can eat so called "diet" food. The first time I ever ate the original Fiber One cereal my husband said "that looks horriable how can you eat that and what does it even taste like?" and I said "like sticks from out in the backyard but its packed with a lot of fiber..mmmmm" LOL.

Thanks to you all for responding, I'm new here and just starting out on my posting! :flowerforyou:

I just had a yummy breakfast that really satisfiies!

    1 spray OVOO
    1 four grain egg
    1 tbls chopped onion
    1 tbls chopped green pepper
    1/2 slice of ham
    1/2 oz 2% ched cheese
