24-Day Challenge... Focused and Confident!

After being away from MFP for several months, I am back and focused on a new beginning. Improved health is priority number one, but I am also counting on positive results for other reasons:
1. Get control of my cholesterol so I can stop taking medication
2. Apply for new life insurance
3. Be in excellent physical condition for officiating high school and college football (and look good in stripes)
4. Wear the clothes I received for Christmas that I have yet to take the tags off of because they do not fit
5. Make my wife and kids proud
So far things are progressing well. Day 3-5 of any program I have ever started has been my demise. I finished Day 3 strong and feel like I am gaining momentum today (Day 4). Also I am taking babysteps by recognizing that I am 1/8th of the way to my challenge goal instead of counting individual days. 24 divided by 3 is 8, so I have broken down the challenge into 8 mini-challenges.

Good luck! Sounds like a great start! You can do anything you set your mind to. Weight loss is definitely not an easy task. Hopefully you will find the support you need to keep you in check!0
