I have been wanting a tattoo in latin for quit some time now but haven't felt comfortable enough to get one because of my weight. I still have about 38-48 lbs until my goal weight so I placed some reward incentives to keep me going strong!
At 160 lbs (in about 9 more pounds)- Hair feathers (google them, they are so pretty!)
At 150 lbs (in about 19 more pounds)- massage (i haven't even felt comfortable to go in for a massage!)
At 145 lbs (in about 24 pounds)- THE TATTOO!!

So my question to you all is... what quote should I get? I have always loved Alis Grave Nil (Nothing is Heavy to Those Who Have Wings), but now I can't decide. Any ideas? ps: if I get that one I would get it on my middle back (still above the bra line) with angel wings (the pretty ones, not the cartoon ones) on either side of the quote.

I love this one--->Post tenebras lux - After the darkness comes the light maybe have an old style candle burning and have have it wrap around the top...in an upside down U, know what I mean?

ugh on my typing skills...have the words start from one side of the candle and arch up over the flames and the last letter be on the other side, something like that hahaha

oo or even a sun... although I am not sure if I really want color or not... and orange and yellow would not be the colors i would chose anyways... good idea tho!

I was thinking keeping it black and white, and the flames could always be more reddish, who knows lol...I have 3 myself, all color

Ive been thinking of a tattoo too. I want to get 2 lillies to symbolize my 2 girls. I love lillies and would love to have some tribute to my children.

I like Nil desperandum best. Cos it is sooooo easy to give up and if you get down to 145 it will remind you of what you have accomplished.
And I got my first tattoo at the age of 60yrs.
