what weight did you get down to before you wore high heels? Just wondering. They KILL my feet now (at 345 lbs)

They kill my feet at 250! I would love to get down to a weight that I could actually wear cute "girly" shoes without extreme pain. I always thought it was just my feet (wide, high arches) but you are probably right, the weight must have alot to do with it!0

I weigh 144.5 and they still hurt my feet. lol. I did manage to make it through an entire wedding a couple weeks ago with my heels on though - so that is probably an improvement over my pre-weight loss heel time.0

i think high heels kill your feet at any weight....0

I wear clark's indigo at 225. I have a few pairs. They are comfortable for the first 6 or 7 hours ... by hour 12, they KILL. but I think any heel would kill after 12 hours.0

Wow, I never thought about that. At 230, I was in pain, but maybe I WILL be able to wear heels for my friends wedding! YEA! Has anyone noticed if their feet get smaller? Mine are wide, and I hope losing will make them "skinny" too! lol0

i dont believe high heels have anything to do with weight. I dont think you will find to many women regaurdless of size that says heels are comfortable. They just make you look good, and your legs look great. and us boys will drool0

Oh, and I was told from a shoe store clerk, that if you have to have heels, try a wedge. They have more support. I don't care for a wedge, but I may try that theory out...0

LOL @ MMAsac.... why do you think I want to wear them? To make my hubby droooooooooooooooooooooool.0

I wear cute platforms at 325 and they didnt hurt my feet (but thats completely different than heels--my point in mentioning is that maybe try something different cut still cute and girly and strappy).. i couldnt imagine wearing heels all day and being comfortable... however, your feet do need to get use to them, so wearing them one time and never doing it agian wouldnt benefit you.. I have a pair of 6inch stillettos (me trying to be sexy in the bedroom)... lol, i could barely stand, id have to walk everyday in them, if only a few feet, just to get use to them... I wore them out once (was forced), and my feet didnt hurt at the end but i was sitting alot (drinks at the bar), and just had trouble walking due to the kind of shoe. i hadnt put them on for a couple months afterwards and had to retrain... i bet if i wore them all day for long periods id be use to them and feel comfortable--i bet thats what the models do and how they handle it walking on runways and such.0

I dont think weight has anything to do with heels either, but being bigger doesnt help the pain lol.. I started out this journey at 223lbs and I rarely wore heels because I couldnt walk comfortably (bad balance being bigger) plus my feet ached. Im currently 174 and I can walk better in them but of course they pain is there when standing for long periods of time. I use to wear them in my younger days and I was much thinner than now (about 140lbs) and of course pain still there lol.. so ya in my case weight has nothing to do with it. I still love heels though because they just make us women look sexy and our legs look awesome in them0
