Wisdom Teeth Help!!!

I am getting my wisdom teeth out on Thursday, and I need some ideas of what to eat.
Here is what I have found so far from other posts. If you can tell me anything else, whether what I have on the list is right, and any other help would be awesome...
cream of wheat/oatmeal
smoothies without seeds
banana ice cream
"mock" mashed potatoes
greek yogurt and protein powder
all fruit popsicles
homemade soup/low sodium soup
Low sodium V-8
Applesauce
Sweet potatoes
Cottage cheese
I need some more ideas for protein. I'm not really into eating sugary ice cream or artificial things either. Thanks a bunch!!

Aside from eating things, just a warning: Watch drinking things (such as your smoothies) out of straws. It can risk giving you "dry socket" which is quite painful.0

What you have is fine. It'll only be one-two days at most that you won't be able to eat solids. I was able to eat the next day after having mine out. One day of liquids/semi-solids will be fine. As Mochama said...avoid straws.0

Well, on my very first day (the day I got them out) I was numb for almost the rest of the day, and then just drugged up ... so I basically just drooled my soup all over the place.
I'd go for something you don't need to chew, but nothing too thin like broth... think mashed potato texture. at least on that first day (I was a messy monster)
but after that, add yogurt, pudding, super-soft (over-cooked, even) noodles were fine.. things you can mush up with your tongue rather than teeth0 -
double post ... >:(0

I think the painkillers killed my appetite, so I don't really remember being hungry after my wisdom teeth came out. Maybe it was also b/c they kept bleeding for ~6hrs. I think I had yogurt, broth and gingerale on day one. Probably had ice-cream too just to feel better. The next day I had chicken noodle soup (minus the chicken meat) and even soggy crackers.
I healed fairly fast I think and had no problems.0 -
Thank you everyone...0

I was told to stay away from anything with milk for the first couple of days.0

Fat free refried beans is a good consistency for day one, and full of protein.0
