Sedentary, Lightly active, Active or Very active?

What did you select as your normal daily activities: Sedentary, Lightly active, Active or Very active? And what do you do during the day that made you choose the one you did?
I am a stay at home mom to my two girls, 2 & 7, and they keep me pretty busy throughout the day so I chose lightly active.

Work a desk job all day, I exercise 5x or 6x a week, but I chose sedentary because 9 hours a day I mostly sit! : (0

I chose lightly active because I'm a cook so I'm on my feet all day and walking around and lifting stuff sometimes. Although, when I come home I tend to sit on my butt until it's time to go to bed.0

I'm also a SAHM to a one year old but I chose sedentary. I'm not sitting on my butt all day, but I'm also not on my feet "most" of the day either. I log my workouts, eat back my exercise calories, and it works for me.0

Sedentary....Desk job!0

I chose lightly active as well. I'm a SAHM with 4 kids (6, 4, 3, 8 months). I'm on my feet 3/4 of the time, and sitting 1/4 of the time.0

I choose sedentary because I might move all day but I log my exercise if I do any. It seems to really work for me. When I had a job I kept the same thing and logged for how long I ran around at work. Also worked.0

I work 8 hours, which is mostly a desk job w/ lots of travel (air)
I enjoy gardening and being outdoors.
I exercise 5 to 6 times per week
I have mine set to sedentary and always wear a heart rate when I know I'll be doing something above and beyond the normal. It keeps me safe. I prefer to be more exact with my calculations aside from multiplying my BMR times an activity factor....very inaccurate if you're new and having a hard time dropping weight in the past.0 -
I chose LIGHTLY active. Honestly had to doublecheck
I am a nurse and I work in a busy hospital. 3 days a week I work 12 hour shifts. 12 hours of which about 80% of my time is spent walking up and down the hallways.
I exercise 5 times a week, 20-30 mins a day.
And I try to stay active with my 3 children. We are always doing something.0 -
I was a stay at home for 10 yrs - I would pick lightly active.
I have mine set as "active" now. I work in retail and am on my feet, constantly moving 4-5 days a week (5-9 hours a day). I also workout at the gym 3 days a week/60 mins.0 -
Also a sahm and I chose sedentary. Even though my 3yr old keeps me busy all day.0

I chose lightly active because I am in food service and am standing all day, usually running back and forth doing random tasks.0

I chose sedentary, but I work a desk job. I do walk a lot though (minimum 10,000 steps a day, usually more like 12000-14000), so I find what helps for me is to just wear my pedomter and figure out my cals burned from that. I usually count 100 cals for every 3000 steps (at my weight). Some may disagree with that approach, but it works for me!0

I chose lightly active for when I'm working because I work with an after school program I'm on my feet and trying to be full of energy the whole time I'm at work. I changed it to sedentary because I'm off work for the summer. I still feel that I'm on my feet a good portion of the day just cooking, cleaning and taking care of a 4 year old but I do sit more than I walk so that's my reasoning. I only exercise 3-4 times a week but so far this is working for me.0

I chose sedentary because usually I just sat around the house all day. But I am a bit active as far as I clean the house everyday and play around with my 4-year-old.0

I chose sedentary. During the school year, I'm walking to classes all day, but I'm also sitting in classes and sitting at the dorms. I log how long I've walked all day as exercise. Now It's summer, I have a desk job and I still log the same way.0

Sedentary.... I basically sit on my *kitten* most of the day in front of a computer screen.0

I chose sedentary because I sit at my computer at home all day. No outside job, so I'm not even walking to the car and back. I have anxieties that keep me from leaving the house very often, so pretty much the only walking I get in is from my bed to my desk and to the kitchen and bathroom. I do some light cleaning everyday, but not much.
For my daily exercise, I've just started to do a 10 minute walk around the house. I count this in my diary as an exercise because that's 10 more minutes of activity that I'm doing that I hadn't in years. I hope to build on that time as I continue on this journey.0 -
I selected active because I work in retail also but as a "silent overnight stocker" I move heavy and mid- heavy and light boxes all night, push loaded up shopping carts/ L- carts around the store, bend, lift, climb for a whole 8 hrs. I also work out 5 ish days a week(sometimes more, sometimes less)......it works for me0

I chose active. I work in a restaurant, and while I'm probably more lightly active when I bartend, I walk a minimum of 5 miles every day at work and closer to 10 on a busy day. It's a small local grill with a skeleton crew for the daytime, so I often host/serve/expo and break a sweat every single day.0

I selected sedentary because I work from home on a computer all day. I do get out for client meetings but it's just walk to car, drive, walk into building, sit and then do it in reverse. I log my exercise which right now is 15 - 20 min a few times a week. I'm more active around the house now than I was when I started in May but I'm keeping it at sedentary because I'm not doing enough to say lightly active.0
