Hi all,
Im new to myfitnesspal. Ive heard alot of success stories from this site, so I thought that I would give it a try. To sum things up, I used to be a dedicated hockey player. There were some family problems recently which led me to no longer be able to play. I ended up not knowing how to spend my empty hours, so I would eat. I did not even realize how fast and how much weight I was gaining until my own mother talked to me about it. Ive tried losing it before, but those were failed attempts. I am ready now to continue to try and try until I am at a steady, healthy weight. I want to take control of my weight before it takes control of me. Im here to help anyone else who needs support through their weightloss process, and hope all of us together can reach our goals.

Yay! You found the right place. This site is great, it helps knowing what you are eating and Just keeping track of the exercises you do. So many wonderful transformations on this site.0

Welcome! and good for you for taking the first step! I just starteda couple weeks ago and I LOVE it. I really never thought I had the will(or won't) power to lose weight but I've surprised myself by losing 3 lbs already! It helps to really see how many calories your putting in your body and helps to motivate you to work out to burn it off. It's been great to have "friends" that are working for the same thing and see how well everyone is doing and look for motivation on your not so good days. So welcome and stick with it0
