Hey Everyone!

I'm new to myfitnesspal. My friend has said nothing but great things about this app/site, so I thought that I would give it a try and see for myself. I've tried to maintain a healthy weight, but over the years I've found it harder and harder to keep it off. I didn't realize how fast and how much weight I was gaining until I noticed more than half the clothes in my closet I didn't wear because they were too snug. Ive tried losing weight before, but those diets and workouts were met with frustration and eventually became failed attempts. I'm ready to try again with a little more confidence and dedication this time! I want to take control of my weight before it takes control of me. I'm here to gain perspective and help anyone who needs support through their weight-loss process, and hope all of us together can reach our goals! Good Luck to all! :happy:

    Just remember, this is not a diet. It is a change in lifestyle. A change in eating habits.

    Absolutely , this ain' t no diet , and the first 2 weeks are the hardest because of the adjustments. You get a real reality check on how many calories you actually consume. That being said this site is awesome and the support amazing.Fell free to add me as a friend if you wish. Good luck on your weight loss journey :)
