How much fiber?

How much fiber is healthy enough daily to lose weight? I have started to have that Amway Nutrilite fiber product (about 4.5 gms) with water in the morning in empty stomach. Is it the right way to have it?
How should I have it so that it will help me to lose weight?

    I don't know how much fiber is "enough" but I generally try to have between 35-45 grams per day

    I'm not sure about the Amway product but I do know that you should try and get at least 25 grams of fiber a day. With any high fiber products like psyllium or whatever, you should drink lots of water with it. Sorry, that probably is not what you wanted to know...

    really if you eat plenty of raw fruits & veggies, you will get close to an adequate quantity of fiber. I think fiber products are good occasionally but not as a regular supplement. Thats just my thought & experience. also try maing some veggie juices, mixed with carrot, orange or apple, those fruits generally take the "greens" taste that is difficult to adjust to.

    If you arent one for raw veggies, then lightly steam or zap em in the microwave. Good luck, increase your fruit & veggie intake.

    I know it says to take with lots of water, and did you know you can sprinkle it on foods as well and there isn't any taste to it! I haven't taken it regularly, but I do take a lot of Nutrilite supplements, they are the best for you! And the box says it's best if taken with a meal... so if you take it in the morning and at night... or either or (box says you can have 2 sticks a day) Make sure you drink lots of water and have it with or on a meal!

    I LOVE how there is no taste to it, but when I took it, it seemed like a lot in one pouch... so I only put like 1/2 or so on my food then the other half in my drink

    and I think if you were to take it on an empty stomach it wouldn't be bad, but I would eat fairly close to when you drink your drink :) Just remember lots and lots of water!

    I am not sure how much is in a single pouch because what I have here is a tin container. It says to have 1 scoop (that's 4.5 gm) daily. How many grams do you have with each meal?
    & have you noticed any weight loss because of taking it? or any other changes?
