week 1 down & loving it!

Hi all
I have been on MFP for a week now so thought i'd say 'HI'. I must of tired every diet system going, I succeed but I gain it all back again & more. I have to say I am actually enjoying it - that's never happened on a diet before LOL! I has a great start with 7lb loss in week 1 & now hoping to settle into a steady loss each week.
One thing to anyone who's experience in these matters.............
I stay within range on cals, carbs & fat but my protein score is over everyday sometimes by double... with this cause a problem?

This is how i am, i love it here, no silly fad diets just a bunch of people ready to motivate you, support you and adivise you. I managed to get to my goal due to the great MFP, which ive never managed before. Welcome xx0 -
I work with a guy that is a personal trainer and he said rule of thumb is 3 grams of protien per pound of weight ( so 150 pound person could eat 450 grams of protien) but unless you are eating "half a cow" twice a day shouldnt be an issue0
