Question for anyone who would like to respond with some information for me.

Although I stay at or slightly under my calorie goal per day. I am consistently over on my protein. Is this is an issue that could prohibit weight loss?

protien is set low on here you can change the ratios...,

you can change the ratio of what you eat! home goals, change goals, custom set % start withn carbs , then waht ever else you want to chage...

everybody is different mine is set to 55% carbs,25% protien, and 20 % fat , was on higher protien and was not happy good luck what ever you deceid to do.

They post around the average protein here but it's okay to go over ... better that than going over on the fat content...... You seem to be doing great too :) Keep it up

Not at all. MFP's protein default (15% of total calories) is very low. A better range is 20-35%. If you do any strength training you should be at the higher end of the range. While operating at a calorie deficit your body is losing fat and muscle. You need the extra protein to minimize muscle loss.

You can customize your macro percentages by going to My Home>>Goals>>Change Goals>>Custom. Save your changes.

nahh, protien is good and keeps you full longer. It is also harder to digest, thus keeps the metab up.

No problem with that. I went into my setting and upped my protein and lowered my carbs.
