i am finally committed to doing this, and so now it is working for me. Whenever I get off track( which is often) I am getting back on track more quickly because I am tracking what I am doing. Yesterday, when I ate over 700 calories at lunchtime, I was able to pull the rest of my day together because I did not want to go backwards.
I hope things are working for you too.
