Now that I'm eating healthy and exercising, I rarely get sleepy at work, but because of a horrible lack of sleep over the weekend I'm finding it really hard to stay alert today. Do you guys have some healthier tips of things I could eat/drink/do to give me an energy boost? (other than the very large iced coffee I'm about to get - don't worry it will be with sugar free syrup and just a little milk)

Fruit always helps me. You get the natural sugar, it tastes good and it doesn't make me feel overfull. And ice cold water. I drink my water at work and refill with ice a lot. It keeps me alert. Oh, and if the weather is nice... I'll take a stroll outside or something. Getting my body moving really helps!

    Good Luck Sleepy Head

I tend to snack on blueberries, pumpkin seeds, or pistachios; sometimes almonds if I remember to. If that doesn't work, then I go on here! hahaha But sometimes just standing up and walking around for a few moments helps big time.

I went ahead and ate my afternoon snack of sliced apples with natural peanut butter early with my ice cold water and it helped a lot!

    Thanks everyone :D
