I live in Texas! We are a few feet from hell so it is HOT all the time  . Am I burning more calories walking and working in the heat than normal?
My thinking this that metabolism is the rise of body heat thus...........YES !

maybe 1-2% more, almost negligible. Any extra water weight you lose would be water.0

I'm no scientist by any means....
But from what I've read on here, other posts and articles.... research shows that however you body may feel while walking/running when it's hot (sweating a lot... etc) you're body isn't actually burning anymore calories.
It really depends on your heart rate.
Also, I've read that when it is colder your body does burn more calories. This is because your body is working harder to keep you warm. So if you go outside and jog in the 40 degree weather... you will burn more staying warm against the cold.
But I'm not scientist.0 -
Hey that sounds very logical! I guess a girl just really wanted to hope.0
