Consistently Going Under Daily Calorie Goal...

So I need to create a deficit, but it can't be an extreme one... Which is why MFP tells me to try and consume X amount of calories per day.
I've been hearing a lot about this "survival mode" that our bodies go into once it realizes what's happening. I don't have it in me to eat healthy and make the mark at the same time. It's either eat healthy and consume low calories at the same time or eat like poop and fail at being healthy.
Today was an anomaly for my decent eating days because we had cheese and crackers in the office and I'm still significantly under. I have my doubts as to what I will be eating for dinner. I was thinking that since I'm so far under I'll just hit up Subway for dinner.
Advice? I'm open to any and all!

I'm not sure if you're thinking of "starvation mode" but that's when you're under 1200- your current goal is pretty far from that...so you can go a little bit lower if you're finding your goal to be too high0

I think starvation mode and survival mode are interchangeable.
I just don't want to be counterproductive with this whole weight loss game0 -
Hopefully I won't be misconstrued on badly judged for saying this but...
I consistently go under my calorie goal and under 1200. For some, it may seem terrible but I eat when I am hungry (honestly hungry, not just bored) I drink a heck load of water (average 3L a day) and I work out. I have been going far under and hitting my calorie goals for the past 4 months. I haven't yet experienced "survival mode". I am not sure if it exists or just doesn't for me because of a past history with EDs. But I continue to loose weight under my calorie goal.0
