Men folk, is it just me!

I always think we (men) are movers and shakers, we innovate, we invent, we explore, and are adventurers.

I always say I'm a Viking. That's because I always think of Vikings as explorers and conquerors fighting the elements. Often I think of the Lewis and Clark expedition as well. They head out searching the unknown, communicating with folks not knowing their language, and the adventure they had.

Though I tell the ladies I'm a cowboy. Which presents a problem since I don't much care for horses, been thrown off several times. Mean rascals they are.

So I'm saying I just don't belong in a house all day. I feel my best, think my best when I'm up and moving. If I'm down the sunshine brings me up. If I'm moving slow getting out gets me moving. When I'm sweating, I know I have done good. When my muscles ache I know I have them. When I'm out hiking, I know I walk tall.

Bold words, pretty inspirational from a masculine point-of-view.

OK, I'll play along... I'm a Viking that likes to relax on the couch and watch TV when I'm not working/working out/cooking/cleaning, etc.

Hmmm......well, in my household, that would make me the man (being the one who likes to get out and get moving), and my husband the woman (since he prefers to hold the remote).

Men must always hold the remote, so it is written :)
