Had to get a mandatory physical today. The hospital gown and all. My wife had hers right before and it looked like it'd be no big deal, but for mine I had to "drop trousers"

Completely embarrassed. Anyone else get a physical recently?

Had a physical about 8 months ago. They never even make me change clothes. They are the lamest 'physicals' ever. They poke my belly and have me breathe in and out. Stupid stuff.

Sounds like yours was generally regular though, men need to be checked for prostate health! Be glad it happened, it is very good to see if you are doing well there or not, even if it is embarrassing.

My last physical was in February. My doctor is very thorough. She made me get a mammogram and a ****load of bloodwork, in addition to the usual stuff.

Allright dude...did you get the "jelly finger", the "cup and cough" , or the daily double? LMAO!!!

I had to get a DOT physical a few weeks ago and luckily the pants stayed on...Sorry my man...oh, the indignity!

I can see being a bit freaked about it if you weren't expecting it, but you should never be embarrassed about taking care of your health. Your doctor does this for a living, and he/she isn't poking around your junk just for fun*. Hey, I make an appointment every 6 months to let my doc get all up in my junk! With a speculum, even!

*Unless this doctor works out of a van and/or alley, in which case I would probably suggest not letting them noodle around your business again.

You haven't been mortified unless there were more than 3 unknown people within viewing range! They did an experimental surgical procedure on me 5 years ago for cervical cancer....at a teaching hospital. God only knows how many people got to view my goods! I know they did video tape it, but only after everything had been draped and they couldn't see my face. It's the price we pay to make sure we are healthy.
