most people log it as circuit training. you probably burn around 200 cals a workout!0

Log it under circuit training. I usually burn around 220 calories or so from 27 minutes.0

I havent started that 1 yet but I see some ppl log it under circuit training!0

I just logged it as 200 cals burned. sure wish i had a HRM!0

I burn from 150 to 180 cal.0

See, I burn over 300. If you don't have a HRM, log it as either circuit training or vigorous calisthenics.
I have a Timex T5G971 HRM, under $40 on Amazon, that I really like....0 -
The message board topics I read about this by searching on this site were to put it in Cardio as 20 minutes of Circuit Training, general.
There were posters that had monitored their burn with a HRM (Heart Rate Monitor) and found the results to be comparable. I have not personally verified this, as I don't yet have a HRM, but believe this would be a reasonable burn to use for logging.
Hope that helps.0 -
According to my HRM, I burned around 300 calories per workout. I little less for level 1, and a little more for levels 2 and 3.0

You really need a HRM, MFP calculations under circuit training is really low compared to what I actually burn.0

When I was doing it I put 200 calories burned. Good luck with the Shred!0

I read that on average a 150 lb person burns 180 calories. Still waiting to get my HRM to know for sure. I added a workout called Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred it under cardio0

wow thank you all for your quick replies!!
you guys are great!!
where can i buy myself a HRM? could i get one at walmart? or do they only sell then im fitness stores?0 -
Log it as circuit training; also know that this site (for me at least) measures it rather low. I have a HR monitor and I burn more then what is stated. If you do not have a HR monitor I would average it out.0

I used to log it as circuit training as well, then I got an HRM.
I have burned anywhere from 260 calories to about 310 on each level.. depends on how hard I go, how much I'm struggling.. etc. It is different for everyone but until you get an HRM you should just do the circuit training one0
