Hi, I just joined MFP about 2 weeks ago and am finding that it is helping. I have been reading so many great success stories and can't wait to be one of them. I am having difficulty in keeping my motivation up though, because I absolutely hate working out. I've got three kids that I constantly use as my excuse as to why I wasn't able to get my work out in for the day. I'm tired of the chub! I am 6' tall and have about 55 lbs to lose, not a super long journey, but a journey nontheless. I was hoping to be able to find someone, or a few people to help me stay honest and challenge myself. I have found that I am way to forgiving of myself when I don't do the things I am supposed to in order to lose weight. I need to find someone who is going to be a little tough, sometimes even a little mean...I do best when I am working with someone like this (weird, right?). Anyway, I hope that I can also give back the kind of support that you may need as well. Good job to everyone on here and keep up the great work!

It sounds like you and I would be a good support system for each other. I've always worked best with the "tough love" approach. Maybe we can both keep each other on track. I have about 25 lbs. left to lose and I am full of excuses as to why I can't lose it. Friend me if you like!
