Dietary sugars question

I am consistently going over my sugars allowance for the day, however, I am eating lots of fruit and very little if any refined sugars. No processed foods or even sugar in tea!

Has anyone else encountered this issue, and perhaps more to the point has anyone any ideas on how to solve this?

Cheers

I go over my sugar pretty much daily due to fruit. I asked the same question on here a couple days ago, and was told basically to not worry so much about natural sugars (but not to go overboard, either). And, to make sure my refined sugars are kept low.

I have had this issue a lot. Somebody on here posted to only count your sugars from processed food. :)

Just a suggestion, I would back off of the fruit as well. There is such a thing as too much of a good thing. I totally understand that you are eating lots of fruit and not any processed sugar, but to my sugar is sugar good or bad...the trick here is all things in moderation...if that does not work check your limits on your sugar do you have it set to low...hope that this helps...

Fruit is very high in sugar. Some more than others. Try to swap out some fruit for vegetables

Don't be too "fooled" by the natural sugar in fruit. It contains the same sucrose that's in regular table sugar, along with other sugars such as glucose and frustose.
