When you complete your food diary it says how much you should weigh in 5 weeks if you continue eating and exercising that way. Has that been accurate for you? Just wondering. It is motivating to say the least. :)

I really do not pay much attention to that.

I add it to my food notes for the future date just to see...
It definitely is motivating, seeing where you COULD be if everything goes well.
I guess it evens out, since some weeks I lose a little less than I am supposed to and other weeks I lose more...

No, I've lost about half to two-thirds of what that says. I think if you are at or slightly below your daily calorie goal, it's going to say what you estimated your weekly weight loss to be when you set up your profile.
  • I just chuckle to myself and think REALLY?! We shall see......that is what I tell myself. Has not been accurate so far

    In a nutshell: No.

There are a lot of factors to consider, like your overall habits, the fact that no day is the same, the so called "starvation mode" etc., which turn this number useless.

I don't find it motivating. And if I have an off day, I find it demotivating.

I also don't think it's particularly accurate, but I can't really back that up with facts without knowing the exact calculation that is being used.

Not very accurate for me, nor very motivating
