Looking for some suggestions of good you tube workouts. I don't have the money to go out and buy a bunch of exercise videos and walking is getting a little old. Time to tone. What you tube videos do you guys use for yoga, circuit training or resistance bands?

I am on a budget myself and have no access to a gym. Jillian Michaels DVDS are 9 bucks at my local Walmart.. I LOVE her 30 Day Shred and No More Trouble Zones DVD's. Most of them require hand weights and a mat if your working out on a hard surface, carpet works just fine though :)

I'm unsure about U-Tube videos but here are some reasonable alternatives:

    - now the big workout balls come w/workout videos
    - resistance bands have workout videos
    - i purchased a big resistance band from TJ-Max, it had several strength training workouts imprinted on the band

Don't forget your library! I often borrow workouts to see if I like before buying.

I love resistance bands they're great... The key is to know "what movements" strengthen which muscles. Once you learn the bio mechanics you can see use many exercises.

this link looks pretty solid and complete.

Hulu has some great full-length workouts, too. I do some of the Kathy Smith workouts. Just go to hulu.com and search specific instructors. or "fitness".

I've never been on hulu, I'll check it out. I did find a guy with 10 minute circuit training that I tried tonight and it was alright. I kinda figured you guys would have a broad variety as well. I just can't buy work out dvd's right now, not even $9...maybe after I get paid, but not right now. I need some serious upper body and abd toning.

    Thanks :)

Here is the link to my facebook page for my training business. I have several dozen workout cards on there and a few videos.

I also like Exercise TV. They are on a lot of cable companies free but they also have a lot of free videos online for those of us who don't have their service on television.

  • I am not sure if you have cable television or not, but I use their Exercise TV on On Demand! They have everything from walking to bellydancing.
