Ladies, I need your advice

I have been busting my *kitten* trying to lose weight. I am 39 so it isn't as easy as it once was. However, it has been coming off slowly. My clothes have been feeling looser and I just *feel* like I am losing weight. I've been feeling a lot better.
But the last two days or so, I have noticed my clothes are not as loose as they have been. The shirt I wore today was perfect last week and now it feels a little snugger.
I haven't been going to the gym as often, since I was sick one week and completely beat the next. My eating has not changed and I have actually been drinking MORE water than normal.
I don't know if I have gained weight (I try not to weigh myself and only let my trainer do it) but I am due for my period soon. I just don't **normally** notice this much difference any other month.
I am freaking out a little because I am thinking if I don't go to the gym every blessed day, am I going to ruin what little progress I have made?????? I am feeling quite defeated. :frown:
So, I guess my question is, what are your experiences. Am I making a big deal out of nothing? I can't bow down to the scale gods, but I can't ignore my clothes.
**HELP**

I sometimes gain a couple before my period...water retention, I think. Usually it dissapears about half way through, so don't freak out just yet, stay true to the course!0

It may be bloat from good ol' Auntie Flo Just keep working through the bloat and it should subside a couple days after you finish your "time"0

i literally go from needing a belt to keep my jeans up to not being able to squeeze into them right before my period! i would say not to worry about it, just wait and see if it goes away in a week or so0

I have the same problem. I know if the scales go up 2-3 pounds I am going to start my period in the next two or three days. Got to love Mother Nature.0

Probably the same as me. I weighed in and I gained 5pounds from Aunt Flo.. best you can do is keep drinking the water and sticking to your eating habits.Check back in a week and see how the clothes fit than. Sometimes you gain more one month from aunt flo than others.0
