Can you wear a bikini now? If so, pics? I'm dying to wear a bikini when I lose all this weight but the fear of sagging skin has me thinking maybe I'll never get to? Plz motivate me girls!

8 years ago I lost 125 lbs ( here to lose weight after baby two) It took about a year but if you eat well and exercise and drink alot of water the skin alot of times will go down with almost no sag. Also there is a thing you can buy after you have a c-section. It is like a girdle but it is to help skin go back after you have a c-section you can use this also to help. I believe they are called belly bands.0

I guess I *could* but I don't. LOL A tankini, yes - with a very thin line of skin showing between the top and bottom. I think I was six last time I wore a bikini, and I can't say I miss it. But I look pretty close to great in the tankini and can rock a 1 piece!0

Yessereebob!!! For the first time in my life I can wear a bathing suit and not die of embarrassment!

That's amazing! Are you able to wear a bikini top or just a tankini?0

I could wear a bikini. My stomach is really pretty flat. I actually have muscle lines. I choose not to wear a bikini, because I couldn't find one that I found appropriate to wear as a mother of young kids. It was a personal choice.0 -
Ive lost 90 lbs...almost 100. This is a "stretched out"picture of me cuz i was holding the camera up pretty high-my legs still need more toned and I do have saggy skin on my belly when I bend over. BUTTTT I Think that if I stay straight the entire time haha-I should be fine-although I still dont feel comfortable enough to wear a bikini in public. But mostly because of my cellulite on my legs and butt-working on that.

Wow you look great! I haven't worn a bikini in 8 years...I just can't wait till next year!0

I wont even wear short sleeves out in public on most days, let alone a bikini! I have major muscle defination , I am just not going to subject anyone to the sagging skin that I also have. that just wouldnt be nice.0

sorry i have loose/saggy bits too lol no shorts/dressess even for me and 1/2 sleves at a minimum! and i still have another 60 odd lbs to go! BUT on the brite side of things i would rather be like this that super super fat like i was...0

Bump! Very interested to read all the responses.
Thanks for the tip on the belly band! That may be something I look into once I get down to my goal.0 -
I have just started to wear tank tops out in public again, my arms are pretty "normal" now but I have confidence issues. As for a bikini....I haven't YET, I looked into getting a 60's style high waist-ed one and I could pull that off, but I just haven't yet - I do have skin issues on my stomach, but mostly that is my "problem area" with remaining fat right now as well. When I do, I will be proud and post a picture!0

Bump! Same concerns here.0

Bump! In all honesty I'd be cool with wearing a monokini as well cuz those things are hotttt

I've just added a barely there monokini to the list of things I will wear when I am thin and smoking hot. Thanks for the heads up on them, I'd have never of thought about wearing one before. That bit up the middle is perfect for hiding the loose skin!0

bump! i'm really curious about whether i'll have saggy skin when i finish losing 80+ lbs. it seems some do and some don't. GL!!!0

I think my saggy skin came with my pregnancies, not the "fat" I had. I had an 11 lbs baby (2' tall at birth) and well, I had saggy skin since then. I was hoping that the skin would fill out when I was pregnant the second time, but it didn't, nope. My second pregnancy was higher up in my belly, so now I have stretch marks starting at about 5" from my breasts and all the way down to my pubic bone... And I also have a roll of marshmallow-like saggy skin. It's disgusting... I can't even hide it in a one piece suit. However, I can mask it in clothing, and well, that's some comfort, seeing I was huge EVERYWHERE before losing the weight, and there is no way to hide that at all. Wish I could give you comfort, but no.... I used to think I'd want surgery to fix it, but I think I'm okay with it now.0

@needle I know, right? That's what I thought! I added three pics of monokinis to my fat folder that has my progress and what not in photo form to look at all the time when I start feeling down. They will hide a saggy fat pooch super well!0

I knew I was going to have saggy skin pretty much as soon as I got into my third trimester. I had a huge bump and my fat literally hung underneath it. My lower tummy in the middle looks like crepe paper after just over 60lbs off, I'm not expecting miracles, but that swimsuit looks great for covering it up!!0

Thinking about stomach skin stresses me out. I am about 2/3rds of the way to my goal. My stomach fat seems to be the last thing to go... I'm hoping a good bit of the rest of my loss comes from there.0

My last one was 11 lbs 7 oz. Over the years I have carried a little over 41 lbs worth of babies in my midsection. That area will never be the same, Im sure. It is what it is....but darn, I miss the flat tummy I once had. :indifferent:0
