Why is is that I can get in a great workout, have lunch afterwards, and then not be hungry the rest of the day? I have to force myself to eat anything afterward. Is that when I'm burning fat? Also, could this just be a quark of my diabetes? (Type 2) yesterday for instance, I finished out the day, with over 2000 calories left over.

Im the same way and i dont have any kind of medical problems (well my weight). I work my butt off then go have lunch then for the rest of the day im just not hungry. I am taking supplements that my trainer wanted me to take.... maybe thats why for me.0

I am just the opposite. LoL. After working out I am starving!! LoL... Over 2000 calories left?? Always try to eat at least 1200 in a day just for health reasons.0

I wish I could be like that. I crave everything and anything that I shouldn't have: Jo jos, fast food, ice cream, pizza, etc. I wish I could work out and feel fine for the rest of the day. Maybe it is just mind over matter.0

I take 10 fat burning pills a day & it gives me no appetite I have to force feed myself to 2700cals. I sometimes get huge cravings for certain foods but then i get myself together. Goals>temporary fulfillment0

I always eat something small no later than an hour before my workout, not to exceed 200 calories, but something with good carbs and protein to get me through my workout. Like half of a banana and a tbsp. of peanut butter. When I'm done working out, I want to eat. So I eat clean foods such as Tuna or turkey and lots of greens and fresh fruits/veggies. I find that in 2-3 hours, my body has already whipped through that tank of gas and it's ready for more fuel. Leaving yourself deprived of 2000 calories is very dangerous. You should never eat less than 1200 on a daily basis. Your body will think it's starving and therefore drop your metabolism and begin to store fat cells (or even begin feeding on it's own muscle to help your organs function properly and to keep your energy levels up.) I hope that helps and good luck!0

If you look at my profile, you can see that my caloric goal is over 2400cal/day. Yesterday, I did 2 hours of water aerobics. Which burned over 1100 calories, and I took in over 1500 calories.0
