Having lost a significant amount of weight over the past 6 months I am getting a great deal of discomfort at the base of my spine (coccyx). I've never really had a fat butt but I now feel a bone that I'm sure is getting bigger and is almost like a docked tail!!!

Being a truck driver it is very uncomfortable and annoying, as I am sat on it all day!!!

Anybody got any views?

    hi

buy a ring cushion to sit on...also be aware this is a major pressure point and could be prone to sores so try to lift up/change postion within the limits of driving and take a walk on your breaks to relieve the pressure.

I broke my coccyx 3 times when I was in high school- NOT FUN! get a donut and sit with your bum slightly forward so you are sitting on the fleshy part instead of the underneath where the bones are closer to the surface. It is so painful I totally hear you!

It's loss of padding.... get a donut pillow until you get used to it.
