All or Nothing

Okay, so I can only go by the extremes, it seems. I have been trying to up my calories from an average of 500-900 for quite a while now. But every time I try, I binge. Then I panic because I gain weight (real weight, not just food) and I go back to the beginning again. If I was trying to maintain, I think it'd be fine, but I have 15lbs to lose.

Has anyone got experience with going from less than 1000 to 1200-1300 or so? How did you do it and what effect did it have on you? I'd appreciate the help.
