After reading an article about a youtube post by a brave girl abpout apologizing to her body for years of not appreciating it or loving it, I decided to start a version of Dear Body here.

Dear Legs, I may have hated how big you were from many years of soccer, but now I love how strong you are and how you carried me through so much training and I hope for many many more years of it.

Dear Arms, You have given me strength like no other for so many years I love how toned you are starting to look.

Dear lungs and heart, I'm so sorry for making you work so hard in the past when I was 29 pounds heavier. Thank you for not giving out on me. I promise to lose at least another 10 pounds. Keep up the good work.
  • Dear Belly,
I have always said you were so big and I just wanted you to go away:mad: you were not going away no matter what I did.:noway: well I have noticed that I still see you there:grumble: , BUT you have gone down SOOOOO much and you are trying:blushing: so I will give you credit where credit is due. You have gone from 46 inches around to a much smaller 33.75 around and for that I thank you so much!!!! heres to you Belly:drinker: Keep up the good work

    Dear Abs,
I realize that we both get cold easily. Legs and arms, they both understand as well. I just have a slight issue with the fact that you won't let go of the excess insulation. You must be tired from fighting the daily runs I put you through. It's best for both of us if you just let go. You're the last part of the body to be clinging on to the past. It's time to let go. I promise you'll be my favorite. But I'm tired of you cheating on me with belly fat. Let go, so we can advance our relationship.
    With warmth and Love,
    Caroline.
